My little French speaking grandson has returned to Australia and this little Aussie card reader has been absolutely brilliant! Not only is it his favourite toy but he has learned so many new words. I will definitely be ordering the expansion pack soon but in the meantime he is happy to repeat card after card continually.The back up service and response has been exceptional. At one point it was mis reading the cards. Almost immediately I got an email ( on a Friday evening ! ) with trouble shooting tips but it turned out to be a stray chia seed that must have made its way into the reader after his lunch. In perfect working order now. Very very happy Meme ( that’s Nana in French! )
Great product, yet the cord was very short. So, I had to buy a longer cord and an adapter.
My son is only 2, so placing the cards in the slot isn’t yet done delicately. So I found the cards too flimsy. Need to be laminated or a stronger card board. I’ve had to remove the gift and I’ll give back to him at an age where he can be a little more gentle: I read that 2 is still a recommended age for this toy:

The cards weren’t as durable as the ad lead me to believe. They bent very easily when my son tried to put the card into the device.
I bouht for my grandson 2yr loves it, the cards were a bit flimsy.

It's a great idea, easy to use and the accent is fantastic. but the cards are a flimsy cardboard that at already showing signs of wear and tear after 1 play session. Which is really disappointing. I can tell they're going to rip and need to be thrown out very quickly They need to either be plastic or have a plastic coating

Our grandson loves using his new word sensory activity, he especially loves using it with us and other people. We bought it especially as he is learning Dutch and English from birth, so hoped this would help him being able to see both picture and word. At first he sought the cards that had a sound as well but now loves saying all the words. We assist with sounding the first letters, asking him the names of the letters etc…..
Awesome for my toddler, but the button to turn it off and on is super stiff and often jams up. Otherwise very great purchase and love that it’s an Australian accent.
